Namastex Labs was founded in the second half of 2022, three months before the world met ChatGPT. The thesis on day one was simple: generative AI would mark a generational shift, and the work had to happen at the frontier, not behind it.

Namastex Labs is founded in Uberlândia as a generative AI research lab, before the category existed. The team commits full time to a new paradigm, ahead of market validation.

Open source at global scale.
Applied research turns into public code. The team contributes to Langflow, one of the world's largest generative AI projects, and ships its own tools, including Genie, with thousands of weekly downloads. The first enterprise engagements happen outside Brazil, alongside universities and international companies.

The shift toward CX.
A merger with an AI-native edtech brings the team a new lens: product vision and a deep understanding of the customer experience market. KHAL begins to take shape as an agentic platform for enterprise CX, on top of the technical foundation Namastex had been building for three years.
